Chilean Chinchineros

Chinchinero is an street performer who dances while plays a big drums attached to his back.

This kind of urban performer plays the big "bombo" with two long sticks and play a sort of hit hats cymbals with a sort of rope tied to his foot. You tube video here
This kind of entertainer sometimes works along with an organillero (organelle player) who plays a mechanical machine with a handler who produces panpipe sounds pre-programmed in a cylindrical device.

In Mexico “organilleros” are better known as “Cilindreros” because this cylindrical device where music is stored. Mexican “cilindreros” or “oganilleros” wear an uniform that looks between a postman or police but all of them are independent and are not members of a union or coalition.

Check this link for Mexican Cilindreros (Spanish Only).
The Cilindro or Organillo is well known as Harmonipan, because the Pan Flutes inside of that box, and there are some factories around the globe who still produce this kind of big mechanical  music box.

Mi soliradidad con el pueblo Chileno por el terrible terremoto que les golpeo la madrugada de hoy.
